Dear Diary - Editing Process Part 2 - (Problems with Clips)

PROBLEMS WITH CLIPS

When listening to what I have edited in the voxplots I had noticed in some areas where the microphone tends to make an unplesant sound. I did not realise this when I was recording the Voxplots, despite this sound I have decided that I will still add that interview to my final edit. I believe that the sound does sound very unplesant and unprofessional, but during this period of time it would be hard to re-record and get more interviews, as most students are busy either doing projects or revising as exam season approaches.

Unfortunately I cant post the video that presents the errors as blogger says that the clip needs to be more than 100MB but you will see the clip and how it sounds once my edit has fully been completed and you will also see how I try to hide it through music and other methods.

In my opinion, I believe that I can edit and change this so the sound is not present in my final edit, by cutting some of the voxplots and fading the sound levels so you can not hear it. I could also cut the clip so she just starts speaking instanly and I could replace my voice with font, which sounds like the easier option as even on the clips my voice did not seem to be heared that much.

Dear Diary - Editing Process

Sneak Peek of my introduction to Drug Use in lyrics.

The process of editing my documentary Drug use in lyrics has been going very good and effective. So far I have added my voiceovers to my visual clips, edited some of my voxplots and added music to my work.  I do have a lot more things I have to edit but I am determined to finsh my documentary by the deadline that I have set.

All the pieces I have edited up to date have a duration of 6.41 mintues, So I am sure that my documentary will be around 10-15 mintues which is what I am aiming for.

A screenshot of my timeline and what I have edited up to date.

VOXPLOTS

Here is the pictures of the two girls that I have interviewed. The 1st one is called Larissa and the second interviewee is called Sherene. Overall I had done 3 interviews, 2 with females and one with a male. I decided to interview 2 females, merely because most teenaged boys around the ages of 16-18 tend to listen to a lot to songs. Especially in my class the boys tend to listen to Grime, which is a genre of music which comes from England, that sometimes promotes drug use in their lyrics. This is why I decided to interview more females then males because most females that I am friends with dont really take in any consideration of what they're singing, even me I tend to sing along to songs without actual knowing what it means its like a trend for people to sing the latest songs and not really know what the singer is talking about.

Some people may even know that the song is about drugs but not the effects of being under the influence of it. The guy that I interviewed seemed to know that the song was about social status but not about drugs, even when I played the infamous part ''pop the molly im sweating''  I had to edit the clip as he paused a lot and said uhmm. This was a shock to me as I thought that he would be aware of what the message of the song was but he had no idea, it just goes to show that just because some males listen to Grime it does not mean they're always aware of what the rapper/singer song is about

Dear Diary - FMP (Final Major Project) Progress

The shooting process of my documentary has become very successfull, despite missing a couple of days I had managed to still get the right amount of footage in time, for the editing process and also to complete my deadline. Today I thought that it would be sensible to go over my clips just to see if they are of a high standard and if they were suitable to present in my documentary Drug use in lyrics.

I believe that the visual parts of my recordings were quite good, I had managed to do different types of shots such as a close up and a pan shot of the area in which I had interviewed people. I also did some visual shots where in my documentary, I had mentioned that drug use in lyrics were present in songs in the 1960s and the 70s.
Here is a clip where I did a closeup shot of the flowers in the area where I had interviewed some people, I thought that it would be a good idea to shoot these flowers, as their apperance was very beautiful and I wanted to present to the audience the type of environment that I was in. If I didnt show the environment that the interviewees were in, it would have been pointless and un-synced when editing.

Another shot that I did which was apart of my visual work was the pan shot of the designated smoking area sign. I had managed to interview someone who was in this area and thought that it would be important to record the sign, so my audience is aware that some of the people I had interviewed were in a smoking area.

After this post I will start the process where I edit my clips and start to form them together. On the days that I was absent I took the opportunity to edit the clips that I had recorded when I was present at college, which was the 4th to the 15th of April, So I am positive that the editing process wont take a long duration of time, due to the fact that I had already edited some of the scenes this is why I set my deadline for the 30th of April

Further more I will begin to still do diary entries where I update you guys about how the process is going on my documentary Drug use in lyrics.

DEADLINE EXTENDED - FINAL MAJOR PROJECT

Dear Diary,

My deadline of my final major project has been extended, due to the fact that I was not present in school on the 18th of April to the 24th due to a personal family issue. The 24th of April was supposed to be the day where everything was expected to be finshed. I have now had to extend my deadline of completiting my final major project to the 30th of April.

I believe that by the 30th of April, that everything will be completed and edited. So far all I have to do is more research on my final major project and shoot some voxplots and some scenes of me informing my viewers about these types of drugs.

Unit 7 - Blogs (Interactive work) + Homework

UNIT 7 BLOGS HOMEWORK

What is a blog?

A blog is a website in which a person owns. A blog revolves around people making entries and posts which could be about entirely anything. You could say that a blog is your own personal diary and outlet where you have the ability to express yourself and gain followers whilst doing it. A blog has various features such as it allows people to post pictures, make posts, and also allows people to network with other people.

Many people use blogs to their advantage and start to make an income of it, by placing ads and by recieving sponsorships. Some bloggers even get products sent to them for free by companies, companies do this in hopes of getting their product out their in the market and reached to a bigger audience.
Are blogs interactive?

Blogs are very interactive as they give people the freedom to communicate to each other and comment on other peoples posts and pictures on their blog. For example, I own a blog and so far it has allowed me to submit work on posts and has given people, worldwide to see my posts and comment. You may think that just because you live in london and have a blog that only people from london will see your posts, but their has been many cases where people abroad have seen my level 2 media blog.

Here I present to you the different audiences I recieve on my blog.

Another way a blog can be interactive is through forums, Many people tend to create a forum blog, which is a blog where people can discuss various topics and leave their opinions. A forum gives people the chance to make friends and debate on loads of different subjects. In forums a community of people are made and sometimes events are created in order for people to meet up and connect with one another.

Guru Gossip
A very popular forum blog where people talk about famous Youtubers, some tend to talk postive about these Youtubers and some negative.

Youtubers are people who have a YouTube account and make videos.

As you can see at the top of the website it says ''TRASH A GURU'' - This shows that their is a specific post where people can talk negatively of a person.

Another forum blog Lipstick Alley
Where people discuss topics about anything and anyone it could be about a celebrity or a personal issue that a person needs help on.

The Main Functions of a blog
The functions of a blog are endless, blogs provide a lot of features.
Such as :

  • Customization choice

It gives people the permission to customize their blog to their specific taste. So if a person wants their blog to be all black they could just change the color or if someone wants a wallpaper as their background they could upload one.

They are thousands of headers and free themes online that people can download and use to give their blog some personality and style.
For example on Wordpress you could purchase different themes. You could purchase a magazine  personal theme where your blog will appear in a magazine format and have magazine style fonts which would be bold fonts and colorful. Or you could purchase a clean and minimal theme where your blog will consist of the colors black and white and would appear to be very neat and organised.

On blogger you would just have to go to settings and you would have a choice of different types of themes that you could apply to your blog. You could also purchase themes online if the themes that blogger have are to plain and dull.

  • Being able to share posts
A blog allows users to share their blog and posts to a wider audience that is not only national but also international. You could share your blog through big social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and many more known more social media platforms.

We are now in a era of technology that allows people to share their interest through a number of social media platforms to thousands and millions of people. Just by the touch of a button an indivual can share anything to a variety of social media platforms that have a wider audience unlike the days where we used to communicate and share things through letters that took days to have to be posted. Social media platforms are something that are instant.

  • Can edit your blog anywhere!

Most blogs now have the feature where you download a mobile app where you can enter your blog making it easier for you to edit and alter your blog when you're outside rather than at your home on a computer.

This function is great as it allows users to have the opprutunity to edit their blog even if they're in a different enviroment or in a place where their is no computers avalible.

  • Quick posting & publishing
When posting things on blogs it publishes  immediately and can even be published at atime schedule you have set, making people access up to date information that can go to audiences quickly so they never miss a update.

Final major project (The Benefits of taking drugs) - Research part four

Instead of focusing on the negative effects of drug use, my teacher told me to stop being vague and also include the facts that some drugs are used to treat people medically. This post is not to promote people to take drugs its just presenting how these drugs  have minor benefits when consuming it.

CLASS A DRUGS

MAGIC MUSHROOMS

ALSO KNOWN AS PSILOCYBIN MUSHROOMS

From the last research that I had done, I discovered that Psilocybin mushrooms cause people to have colorful hallucinations even if you ingested tiny amounts of it. Despite the drug giving people hallucinations it is said to help benefit people by decreasing the signs of cluster headaches, OCD and depression. This drug has a underlying impact on the brain that it has to be significant. Research that was submitted in the British Journal of Psychotheraphy in 2012 discovered that participations had enhanced recall which made the drug play a effective addition in psychotherapy.

People even studied and found out that psilocybin mushrooms lessen the activity in the frontal of the brain that are hyperactive when a person has depression.

ECSTASY

ALSO KNOWN AS MDMA

Despite Ecstasy leaving abusers to experience hallucinations and a high level of energy, it is said to have some benefits. The same hallucinogenic and high energy properties is which what makes this drug so popular in party scenes, and what makes it suitable in treating PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder)

Some researchers have discovered that ecstasy even has long-lasting anti-cancer belongings for leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma and in 2011, researches from the University of Birmingham uncovered out that an altered form of ecstasy was 100 times more overpowering in killing cancer cells than MDMA.

COCAINE

Cocaine is also said to have a lot of benefits too. This drug can be used as a vital part of anesethic for surgical procedures because of its fast responding numbing properties. If cocaine is even mixed with other substances such as TAC it could treat skin lacerations as the drug is effective in narrowing blood vessels.

CLASS B DRUG

MARIJUANA

Marijuana has been in the media a lot especially in America, as so many people want to legalise this drug because of its aiding properties.  Through various scientific research this drug has been noted to  help sooth chronic pain, decrease PTSD, control nausea, sooth intra-ocular pain with glaucoma and many more things. Overall Marijuana is said to have help aid a lot of things.

Dear Diary

Monday the 11th of April was the day that i began shooting for my final major project, so far I have managed to record the voiceover for my introduction in my documentary. I also got some really good clips of me explaining how class a drugs are bad to consume and some visual clips where you see me writing on a whiteboard the different types of drugs that are in the class a category.

Today I have a lot more to do such as shoot the scenes where i state the effect that these drugs have on people and possibly even start some voxplots.

*Screenshots will come soon*

Final Major Project Research Part Three

BEATLES - LUCY IN THE SKY WITH DIAMONDS

Today I thought it was cruicial to plot down on my blog, the research that I have produced for the popular yet controversial song ''Lucy in the sky with diamonds''

Lucy in the sky in the diamonds is a song that was written by John Lennon a former member of the popular band The Beatles. This song recieved a lot of controversy due to the fact that people thought that song was about the drug LSD aka lysergic acid diethylamide.

L S D
Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Despite these claims, John lennon has stated that this song has nothing to do with drugs and that this song was merely a response to what his song had painted. His son had painted a picture of a girl and stated that her name was lucy and that she was in the sky with diamonds. People interpreted his song is many different ways, some people thought that the song was about LSD, some thought that it was about his mother Julia and some people thought that his song was about a female savior that turned out to be his wife.

Some of the beatles members have even admitted to taking drugs. John Lennon, George Harrison, and Paul mccartney have all confessed that they consume drugs. There was even a stash of LSD found in John Lennon's house in surrey in 2010, so it honestly does not shock me as to why people would think his song is about drugs, because he was a person that was under the influence of the drug LSD.

In my documentary drug use in lyrics I thought that it would be interesting to present my personal opinion as to what I think this song could possibly be about. In drug use in lyrics you will see what I have to say, a girl that has done a huge amount of research on the effects that class a drugs have on people and see if it links with this popular song.

Final Major Project Research pt 2 - Analysis + Annotation of Song Lyrics

ANALYZING AND ANNOTATING SONG LYRICS

This is the second part of research which will prepare me for the production of my final major project Drug use in lyrics. So today I will be analyzing and annotating the songs which i will be using to interview the public with.

I chose these songs in particular, as they have a lot of stuff in common in the lyrics which is drug use and partying. These songs are fit to use against interviewing people as i want to know if the public are aware of the meanings in the song.

Final Major Project Research

CLASS A DRUGS
Class A drugs is a category of drugs that have been seen as the most dangerous and life threatening to consume, if caught with these types of drugs you could face very serious charges as they're illegal to have.

Class A drugs :

Heroin

Brief Description : Heroin is a drug that is produced from morphine, which is removed from an opium poppy. Heroin is a drug that once you use it can be very addictive and people can find it difficult to quit taking heroin. Heroin is known to be a very strong painkiller. People take heroin by either injecting it to their veins or smoking it.

The appearance of heroin is not always brown, in-fact natural heroin is formed in a white powder, but due to different types of  materials it is cut with normal heroin on the street color could vary from brown to white.

The street-names of heroin
Drugs are normally disguised through street-names so people do not get caught talking about them in public here are some of street-names of heroin.

STUFF AND TAR

The effects of being under the influence of heroin

Like any other drug you are bound to have some negative effects that occur once consuming it. It has said to leave people feeling warm and chilled. Bigger quantities of the drug has said to make people feel sleepy and calmed. Taking heroin could lead you to feeling like this for loads of hours.
Just by consuming one dose it could lead you to vomit and be dizzy.

Heroin is also known to slow down the process on the way our bodies work, and is recognized as a really strong pain reliever. It makes pain easier to go through by minimizing your emotional reactions towards it, it comforts you from the psychological impact of hunger, and also fear and anxiety. This is why heroin would be appealing to those who are depressed or feel suicidal as when using it, it gives them a feeling that they have had not had in a long time which is happiness due to the endorphins being released in the brain and a sense that everything is going to be okay.

There is a lot of risks when taking any drug!

The risks of heroin could be quite life threatening, if consumed a lot it could cause your heart to function slower and could trigger a comma which could lead to death. Heroin is a very addictive drug so once used it could be extremely hard to quit, if you tried quitting and you were someone that took heroin consistently it could cause you to want to relapse and take a even bigger dose to satisfy your craving, resulting in an overdose.

If you're going out with friends at a club and taking heroin and mixing other drugs together, this could also result in an overdose, so it very crucial not to mix drugs together let alone take them.

Smoking is not the only way to take heroin, because heroin does not seem to disintegrate people tend to dissolve it in a spoon with water and then inject it into themselves, this is very dangerous
as heroin can destroy arteries and do some harm to your veins. You could also risk getting infected with HIV/AIDS if you share your needles with other people, which is very common to do on the streets. Injecting heroin in your veins causes a rapid effect to occur in your arms as the drug begins to travel through your blood stream making its way to your brain.

Skin Popping

It could often lead you to scars on your skin as most people who use heroin inject it in the tissue, slightly under the skin resulting in skin popping an infection due to injecting the drugs in your tissue.

As you can see their is a lot of risks when using heroin, it could damage your body and could lead you to being dead, is it really worth taking?

Crack Cocaine
&

COCAINE

Brief Description : Crack cocaine is just cocaine in a crystallized form which originally comes in a powder form.  Cocaine turns into crack cocaine when it has been handled with baking soda or ammonia.
Crack Cocaine is made through the leafs of a coca plant as well as cocaine, its just that crack cocaine is handled different after collected from the coca leafs.
                                             Coca leafs

Crack is consumed by heating it up and smoking it, the name crack comes from the sound that it makes, a crackling sound once heated up .Crack cocaine like any other Class A drug is known to be very addictive and fatal if you take it in higher quantities.

Crack cocaine is an energizing drug and is known to give people a quick and a exceptional relief that only lasts for a short period of time 15 minutes. This is one of the reasons why people get addicted to Crack cocaine, due to the fact that they want a quick relief of energy and when it finishes they crave more of that feeling. It has been said that just by smoking Crack cocaine rather than snorting it through your nose that, it is so powerful that someones first try of this drug could make them be addicted to it immediately

The difference between Crack cocaine and crack

Cocaine

As much as this drugs are commonly linked together, they have quite the differences crack cocaine is normally consumed by snorting it in your nose or by disintegrating in water and injecting it into your veins. Cocaine is a type of drug that can not be smoked, and is made by mixing coca paste with  hydrochloric acid. Cocaine is even in-fact more expensive than crack cocaine.
When snorting cocaine the effect that it does to your body takes up to 20 minutes and lasts up to 60 minutes, if you inject cocaine than it takes one minute to go to your brain and the effects will last for 30 minutes.

Crack Cocaine

Crack cocaine was said by the US Department of Justice to be more addicting than powder cocaine, which results in people using it more often than cocaine. Crack cocaine is just powdered cocaine that is combined with baking soda and water which is left to dry to become a solid block, the block is then cracked and turned into rocks that people can smoke. Most people smoke Crack cocaine through a glass hand pipe or a water pipe.

Overall Crack Cocaine and Cocaine are similar in the fact that they both contain cocaine and that they have the same effects and disadvantages when using it.

The effects of being under the influence of these two drugs

These drugs  tend to be very addictive to a drug user as this drug tends to reach the brain rapidly, Cocaine and crack cocaine are known to have such a powerful effect that can be highly addictive.

People under the influence of cocaine are said to feel superior and just full of energy, which is completely understandable since cocaine is a stimulative drug. They are also said to feel invincible and wide awake which leads people being reckless and doing adventurous things whilst on the influence of this drug that could risk their life.

Cocaine is also said to help decrease people's feelings of hunger and make their heart beat faster than usual. When this effects start to ease and disappear it leads the abuser to want to take more as they crave that energized and lively feeling.

The risks of being on these two drugs

When people inject this drug in their body it causes a lot of problems, as doing this makes the drug reach the brain more fast than usual, doing this makes the abuser suffer from several problems such as their veins being destroyed and the growth of blood bourne viruses like HIV and Hep C. It has been said that its easy to accidentally overdose yourself through injecting cocaine in your body.

When snorting cocaine you face problems as well as you're causing the cartilage in your nose to be destroyed resulting in you having a deformed nose where all you have is just two big nostrils.

Here is an example of what your nose would look like if you regularly snort cocaine, Danniella Westbrook a former Eastender star committed  to doing cocaine and as a result she had to pay for a pioneering operation to get an implant to fix her nose.

Another risk of doing Cocaine is that most crack abusers tend to get hooked on to heroin as well, to fill and satisfy their needs making them having two drug problems. Their has been many cases where people have mistaken heroin for cocaine and have died after snorting the powder, heroin is known to be very effective in small doses so if you take it thinking its cocaine the chances are that you will die from an overdose or experience breathing problems and end up not being able to breath at all which would result in you dying.

Using Cocaine can even effect people's emotions making them feel depressed and exhausted. Taking Cocaine can develop into very serious problems with anxiety, panic attacks and paranoia it can mess your life and trigger old mental health problems to come back.

Psilocybin Mushroom

Brief Description : Psilocybin Mushrooms are a hallucinogenic drug that people consume by eating dried, eating cooked or even brewed in a tea.

These types of mushrooms are grown in the ground all around the world in mostly woodland areas. Psilocybin Mushrooms even grow in the wild in the UK and can be easily taken if you know where they are. If you buy these type of mushrooms it would cost you five pounds for a handful of them.

In woodland areas they are different types of mushrooms, some poisonous than others which is why some people need to be knowledgeable about these types of mushrooms before picking them and eating them.

You have your :

Psilocybe Semilanceata mushrooms also known as liberty caps

Fly agaric mushrooms aka amanita muscaria

(Some of these are poisonous)

The effects of being under the influence of magic mushrooms

The effects of magic mushrooms can last between 30 minutes to two hours to sink in. The powerful part of the trip could last to an everlasting 4 to 10 hours, with after effects normally lasting for an additional 2-6 hours.

Magic mushrooms are said to leave the abuser either having a great and peaceful experience or a frightening and scary one. Your experience depends on how your body will take this drug, and the more mushrooms you take the more your trip will last.

Magic mushrooms gives you the illusion that you are dreaming when you are awake, its known to be quite a psychedelic drug, they say that people who take this drug become more creative and feel more wise. Which is one of the reason why people take magic mushrooms to have their moods lifted up, to feel at peace with the world or even to complete a spiritual quest.

Magic mushrooms can make you feel delusional and mix your senses up, you may think that you can hear colors and see sounds which is pretty scary! these types of mushrooms can effect you in a serious way where you could just start to vomit out of nowhere, get belly pains and even diarrhea.

They can also increase and decrease your sense of time in movement

The risks of being under the influence of magic mushrooms

It is uncertain of what mushrooms are poisonous, or not so you could consume a mushroom and risk your life. The fly agaric mushrooms are so poisonous that it could kill you, so you could just be one step towards death if you do not know what you're doing and end up picking any random mushroom.

Taking magic mushrooms could leave you with a bad and creepy experience which you would never know until you get it,  I guess in a way you need to be prepared of what might occur in your trip and if you can handle it.

Because magic mushrooms is a drug that causes hallucinations, you could be risking your life as when under the influence of this drug you're not in control of your body and see things way differently than someone not on drugs, you may do something you think is alright to do but if you was not on drugs it was something you would not do.

Ecstasy - MDMA

Brief Description: Ecstasy is a drug with quite a reputation due to its public exposure in the late 80s and early 90s. People in the clubs would take these drugs to feel relieved and full of energy, this drug would cause them not to feel tired, which made them dance for a long duration of time.

The effects of ecstasy are said to taken around half an hour to sink in and end up lasting between 3 to 6 hours.

Natural ecstasy is known to be in a powder form made of white crystals (MDMA). Ecstasy is commonly sold on streets in a tablet form, but is now being more sold in its natural form which is the powder.

Ecstasy is a type of drug that can be snorted and swallowed. If its in its tablet form most people will just swallow it and some will just break the tablet and snort it. If the MDMA powder is present people will snort that also or dab the powder on the gums of their teeth.

Because Ecstasy is a man-made drug, makers have the choice to add whatever substance they want to Ecstasy such as : Cocaine, Caffeine and Amphetamine

Makers of the drug can even make this drug in different types of colors with engraved symbols or stickers present on them.
Ecstasy tablets in different colors with engraved smiley faces and crowns on it.

The effects of being under the influence of Ecstasy

Most people that take Ecstasy are said to feel a burst of energy where they feel in-sync with their surroundings, sounds and colors in a dramatic way. Abusers of Ecstasy will also gain physical changes such as the dilation of pupils, a tingling body feeling, a dense feeling of the muscles in their jaws, an increase in body temperature and a very fast heart beat.

When taking Ecstasy on a night out you could potentially be an embarrassment, as people under the influence on this drug are described as being chatty and not making any sense to the people who are not on the drug.

Users of Ecstasy are also known to have short-term feelings of love and fondness for strangers or people they are hanging out with. Which could be one the reasons why one of the street-names of this drug was called the love drug and hug drug.

This drug could easily just trigger bad problems for your life such as increase your experience with anxiety, panic attacks, confused episodes and even psychosis.

The risks of taking this drug

Because Ecstasy is a man made drug you will never be certain of what is inside of it, you could be taking multiple drugs at once and have double the negative effects, which could be life threatening and even traumatizing to you. Their has been many shocking stories where people have took Ecstasy once and already their life is not how it used to be.  This pill could end up leaving you in a state where you're not capable of looking after yourself  and in a wheelchair.

This 16 year old girl called Amy Thompson took 1 ecstasy pill at an ''ecstasy'' party in Glasgow and ended up collapsing, just one pill made this girl fight for her life in hospital for a month, luckily she survived but sadly she is now in a state where she is a wheel chair and her speech is slurred.

It just comes to show is Ecstasy really worth taking if it can play a detrimental part in your life?

Another risk of taking ecstasy:

When taking this drug it can really pay a negative part to your immune system, people who take ecstasy suffer a lot from kidney, liver and heart problems. Some users have said that colds and sore throats occur often when they take this drug, which could be the result of staying awake for 24 hours.

People normally take ecstasy in a party environment, which could be bad as when dancing your body temperature will begin to rise making you feel dehydrated and overheated, it is crucial that when this happens you should take breaks from dancing to cool down, if not you could pass out and it could lead to serious problems.

And last but not least the after-math of Ecstasy can you lead abusers feeling depressed and lifeless.

LSD
Powdered form

LSD tabs

Brief Description : LSD also known as lysergic acid diethylamide is a very strong hallucinogenic drug. This type of drug has two forms in way people can consume it, you have your tabs/pellets that are swallowed, you then have drops of acid in a liquid form which could be added to your food and ingested.

On the street LSD is commonly sold in little squares of paper with animated pictures on them, people also sell this drug in liquid form and in small pellets. Prices for the this drug can differ in different regions but generally it would could £1 - £5 a tab.

Acid can start to cause an effect on people from 20 minutes to two hours, this results in people taking more doses as they believe that the acid was not enough or did not work, making them struggle to keep up as they took two doses of this drug.

LSD was created by a man called Albert Hoffman, he discovered the hallucinogenic effects of acid when he accidentally spilled it on himself.

The effects of being under the influence of acid

Acid tends to leave people feeling de-stressed and joyful if they have a good trip. The scary part of LSD is that when people take it they cant tell if the sensations they are feeling are because of the drugs or because of what is occurring in real life. Which is why someone might regularly want to take this drug to feel that pleasure feeling that they think helps them be wise.

In a trip you could see objects in an out of shape manner, along with shapes and colors. Because it is a hallucinogenic drug you are bound to have hallucinations where you can see things that only you can see (not real) and hear things that are not real.

A bad trip can leave abusers feeling unsettled and unclear due to their terrifying and weird hallucinations that they have .Your trip can vary on your surroundings and how relaxed you're in an environment, if you are not relaxed then chances are you are going to experience a bad trip. Bad trips leave people feeling scared of their actions, scared that they would die and that they will even go insane! these type of feeling could last for twelve hours, a long time where someone could just experience and see so much appalling things.

The risks of taking acid

People are known to harm themselves in a bad trip if they suffer from mental health issues. So to avoid this from occurring it is not recommend that depressed or anxious people consume acid. The drug acid can in-fact make someone with mental health issues have worse problems than before, that could be stuck with them for a long duration of time.

Flashbacks often occur when taking the drug acid, meaning that your trip could happen again out of no-where. This type of stuff happens after weeks of consuming acid but could be experienced months and even years later, which is quite weird and scary as you never know when you are going to experience your trip.

Unlike the other drugs, it has been said that there is no evidence that assumes that LSD does to do any long-term harm to the body or any physiological harm.  There is also no evidence that this drug is addictive but it has been proven that you can become open-minded about the effects.

Methadone

Brief Description:  Methadone is a legal drug that is prescribed to help lower the symptoms of the craving of heroin. Heroin and methadone are known to have alike effects but it does not give the same level of high or thrill from the drug heroin.

Methadone is an opiate drug, opiates are depressant drugs that helps depress the nervous system. They help prolong the functioning of our bodies and help decrease physical and psychological pain. The effects of Methadone can occur rapidly and can last for numerous hours.

Methadone was first manufactured in Germany at the laboratories of IG Farben, a huge pharmaceutical company. It was said that this production was part of Hitler's attempt to be independent from the inspiration of other countries.
.
A patient that is an abuser of heroin will usually be advised to take methadone instead of taking heroin. The amount of methadone will generally decrease over time, in hopes to help the patient stop taking drugs altogether. This helps as the patient can now quit taking heroin, stopping any withdrawal symptoms from happening as the patient now has a substitute.

It is common for users to become addicted to methadone because of its drug and aiding properties. In some cases the patient could end up with two addictions with very harmful drugs.

The effects of being under the influence of Methadone

Once on methadone you tend to feel a sense of warmth which is very common to the other drugs i wrote about! Methadone also makes the user feel at ease and relaxed whilst making them feel a disinterest in things.

Because Methadone is an aiding drug its effects range from helping the patient, such as helping to ease the patients feelings of anxiety. People under the influence of this drug will also see a difference in their physical pain and psychological pain, as it helps solve their addiction for heroin and minimize the withdrawal from it.

The risks of taking Methadone

Taking higher doses of methadone, can lead users to feel tired and if very huge quantities of methadone is consumed people can fall into a coma or stop breathing, which is quite life threatening.
Most first-timers of methadone are sick when using the drug so when token people could be left feeling constipated.

An addict of methadone may end up finding illegal ways of getting methadone in order to feed their craving. They do this by finding methadone sold on the street, which is bad because street methadone may have additional substances added to it and in some cases might be even more stronger than the ones they were prescribed, resulting in someone getting harmed.

If you decided to mix methadone with alcohol which a silly thing to do! it could be very detrimental towards your life and would lead to you overdose, have breathing problems, and even worse you could die.
